Pre-qualification processes

  • Analysis of prequalification documents and comments

  • Analysis and review of questions and answers, taking into account the availability of the bidders.

  • Attendance at meetings called by the contracting party.

  •  Review of documentation prior to presentation.

  • Follow-up during evaluation process, clarifications and corrections.

Tenders

  • Reading and analysis of bidding documents and comments

  • Analysis and review of questions and answers regarding legal, contractual, insurance, guarantees, financing and even technical issues.

  • Preparation of suggestions for adjustments and/or modifications to the contractual documents.

  • Attendance at meetings convened by the contractor.

  • Preparation and assistance in the negotiation of Joint Venture agreements or similar.

  • Preparation and assistance in the negotiation of agreements with designated subcontractors.

  • Participation in the preparation of the legal, technical and economic proposal, guaranteeing that it meets the requirements of the contractor.

  • Follow up during the tender presentation, as well as during the clarification and correction phase.

Contract negotiation

  • Proposal and negotiation of adjustments, clarifications and/or improvements to contract conditions and contractual documents.

  • Negotiation and adjustments with members of the JV, as well as with main subcontractors.

Contract execution and order to proceed

  • Preparation of legal documentation to be delivered by the Contractor or Contractors.

  • Obtainment of any documentation or permit required for the signing of the Contract by the Contractor.

  • Review of the powers of attorney of the legal representatives.

  • Review of contractual guarantees or bonds.

  • Review of all insurance policies required in the contract.

Mobilization

  • Review and assistance in the obtainment of the permits required by the contract.

  • Assistance in the preparation of a schedule of delivery of work areas, duly coordinated with the contract schedule.

  • Justification of changes to the personnel offered with respect to the personnel actually assigned by the contractor.

  • Review of the work schedule to be presented to the contractor, making the pertinent adjustments to avoid penalties or sanctions of any kind.

  • Preparation of standard subcontracts for different specialties (engineering, construction, assembly, services, etc.)

  • Assistance in the negotiation and signing of subcontracts.

  • Organization of a mail and file management system.

  • Implementation of a subcontract management system.

  • Organization of an internal workshop regarding the duties and rights of the parties established in the main contract, as well as in the subcontracts.

Contract performance

  • Implementation of the work area delivery schedule, as well as a follow up process.

  • Preparation and/or review of letters considered important.

  • Preparation and/or review of responses to letters from the employer, subcontractors and suppliers, authorities, etc.

  • Preparation of justifications in case of sanctions.

  • Administration of required permits, including renewals.

  • Assistance in the preparation of claims for insurers, as well as in their subsequent negotiation.

Claims

  • Coordination of the preparation of claims, along with those responsible for the contractor's technical and production areas, framing the claims in the pertinent legal and contractual provisions.

  • Assistance in the negotiation of claims with the contracting party or its representatives.

  • Preparation and/or review of documentation for the formalization of claims accepted by the contracting party.

  • If the claim is denied, participation in subsequent phases of mediation, arbitration or lawsuit.

Completion and acceptance process

  • Follow-up of pending issues and their resolution, required prior to achieve completion.

  • Closing of permits obtained during the contract performance.

  • Release of contract bonds or guarantees

Operational guarantees

  • Follow up of the process of notification of issues on account of operation guarantees, as well as their resolution by the contractor.

Contract completion

  • Timely registry of obligations fulfillment by the contractor with third parties.

  • Signature of documents that certify the completion of obligations by the contractor.
